HLTFSE007 Oversee the Day to Day Implementation

of Food Safety in the Workplace (100% online) - $60pp

The HLTFSE007 - Oversee the Day-to-Day Implementation of Food Safety in the Workplace course, delivered 100% online by Salt Training Academy in collaboration with Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909), is a nationally recognised unit designed for individuals in leadership or coordination roles within food service operations. This course is ideal for healthcare supervisors, aged care team leaders, community kitchen coordinators, and food service managers across Port Macquarie and the Mid North Coast of NSW who are responsible for maintaining safe food handling environments for vulnerable populations.

Participants will develop advanced skills to oversee food safety systems, manage staff compliance with workplace procedures, and ensure continuous improvement in food safety practices. Topics include monitoring HACCP- based food safety programs, managing documentation and records, responding to non-compliance, and supporting staff through coaching and corrective action. This unit builds on prior food safety knowledge and is targeted at those supervising or mentoring others within the kitchen or service setting.

To meet assessment requirements, students must complete a Third Party Observation Report, confirming their ability to lead and monitor food safety practices in a live workplace setting. This may be conducted in environments such as aged care kitchens, hospital food services, catering teams, or not-for-profit community meal programs. A manager or team leader must verify the student’s performance, ensuring real-world application of the unit’s outcomes. This flexible structure is especially well-suited to working professionals in Port Macquarie and the wider Mid North Coast, enabling learners to complete training while remaining active in their roles.

By studying HLTFSE007 with Salt Training Academy, students benefit from industry-aligned training, expert support, and a commitment to regional workforce development. With certification issued by Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909), graduates gain a valuable credential that confirms their leadership capabilities in food safety compliance, helping ensure high standards of care and hygiene are maintained in workplaces that support vulnerable individuals across regional NSW.
